Allergies are one of the most common diseases happening to people nowadays. It is estimated that allergies, depending on their form, affect between 10-30% of our population. Most of them are chronic which causes patients to seek treatment systematically, sometimes throughout their entire lives (like in the case of bronchial asthma). Allergy, or hypersensitivity, is a term used to describe the excessively severe response of the immune system after contact with the antigens (allergen) which leads to cell damage in patient's body. Allergens bind to specific antibodies from the immunoglobulin E group. They may sensitize the body by the respiratory, digestive, percutaneous or parenteral routes.

PolyCheck allows determination of specific antibodies in the serum without having to perform skin tests.

PolyCheck is based on the principle of immunoassay, in which computer-based analysis and processing are used. Said system is based on the technique of allergens being applied to the nitrocellulose membrane strip, as well as on a standardized response using monoclonal antibodies specific to human IgE antibodies.

PolyCheck allows you to designate 20 specific IgE's at a price equal to 4 or 5 designations while using other methods. Those sets contain allergens most commonly used in allergy diagnostics.

For testing:
- 2-3 milliliters of blood are taken,
- you do not have to stop taking anti-allergic medicine,
- you do not have to fast,
- this test can be done on children, adults, the elderly and patients with skin lesions,
- waiting time for results is 2 business days.
