Volumetric facial rejuvenation is meant to restore the lost volume and correct the contour of the face and neck. This helps restore the natural volume in the areas where the amount of adipose tissue has decreased. The loss usually affects the area of cheekbones, cheeks, nasolabial folds and corners of the mouth, and less frequently – jaw and chin. The neck and temples are affected least often.

The areas where no fat tissue can be found (around the eyes and mouth) are not really exposed to that issue. You can buy a number of specialised face contouring products on the Polish market. Formulations based hyaluronic acid include: Sub-Q, Emervel Volume, StylAge XL. In addition to hyaluronic acid there are some other highly effective products, such as polylactic acid Sculptra and calcium hydroxyapatite Radiesse.
