Food intolerance is often the main reason for a whole series of disorders affecting people.
Food intolerance can have many symptoms and affect almost every organ. The most characteristic symptoms of such intolerance include:

  •     excess weight, obesity;
  •     migraines, headaches;
  •     stomachaches;
  •     indigestion;
  •     diarrhea, constipation;
  •     bad breath;
  •     chronic sinusitis;
  •     hay fever;
  •     asthma;
  •     high or low blood pressure;
  •     low or high blood sugar;
  •     acne, eczema;
  •     anxiety, depression;
  •     aggression , irritability;
  •     chronic fatigue;
  •     sleepiness after eating;
  •     weakness;
  •     arthralgia;
  •     inflammation of organs;
  •     mycosis.

Food intolerance and obesity:
Research, that has been done within the last few years, suggests that food intolerance could cause obesity, and excluding intolerable food from one's diet reduces weight all the while consuming the same amount of calories.

Food intolerance and skin:
Intolerance for certain ingrediants may cause: rash, erythema, urticaria, eczema, dandruff, hair loss, psoriasis, acne, eczema, itchy skin, cellulite, excessive sweating, hyperkeratosis  and discoloration of the skin.

Food intolerance and fertility:
Infertility is now a lifestyle disease. Many couples after years of diagnosis, or in vitro attempts, still do not get help. Although theoretically healthy, they still fail to become parents. One of the possible reasons may be improper nutrition causing trouble to produce germ cells or inflammation of reproductive organs or the inability to maintain a pregnancy. In this case, diagnosis of food intolerance is indicated. After eliminating certain products from their diet that do harm and cause inflammation, their yet again balanced and regenerated bodies begin to function better.
Doing tests for food intolerances is indicated primarily for people who already know or suspect that they react badly to certain ingredients and for those who want to eat consciously and find out how to best prepare for pregnancy.
Some cases of food intolerance are caused by an enzyme deficiency or chemical hypersensitivity, while in other cases it may be a response of the immune system to nutritionally-specific antibodies called IgG antibodies.

Treatment of food intolerance
First step is to diagnose those products which cause symptoms of food intolerance using special tests. Knowing the intolerable products we're able to create an individual elimination diet. By eliminating intolerable ingredients we will be able to get rid of the symptoms that we have been suffering from for years.

Which products are tested ?

Food intolerance and allergy are not the same!
Why ?
When dealing with a regular food allergy (e.g. allergy to peanuts or shellfish), a severe and immediate response of the immune system occurs after eating that particular food. However, food intolerance causes a delayed reaction of the body. The symptoms may appear even after several days.
Food allergy is quite rare, because it is found in only approx. 2.5 percent of our population. The most common allergens are peanuts, Brazil nuts, almonds, eggs, milk, fish and shellfish .

Food intolerance symptoms are not usually associated with food and are diagnosed as separate problems. In other words, anyone can have a food intolerance without even knowing!
