- FSH- This test checks the level of gonadotropin FSH produced by the pituitary gland. FSH is responsible for the proper functioning of the reproductive system. It is used in the diagnosis of infertility.
- LH- gonadotropin hormone also called luteinising hormone or lutropin. Research of this factor is often recommended to the treatment of infertility. LH level varies with age. Test can also be used when diseases such as pituitary dysfunctions, hypothalamus dysfunctions, hypogonadism, pituitary adenoma are suspected.
- Estradiol- female sex hormone. Estradiol level varies depending on the day of the menstrual cycle, therefore it is helpful in ovulation assessment. Estradiol level test is performed mainly in order to diagnose the causes of dysmenorrhoea.
- Prolactin - factor used in the diagnosis of menstruation disorders and fertility problems. Concentration of prolactin increases significantly during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Progesteron- determination of the progesteron level is used in the diagnosis of infertility, determining the physiological ovulation, diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, threatened miscarriage and when bleeding from the uterine during pregnancy occures.
