Beautiful lips are considered one of the most important features of female attractiveness; hence the ideal, full shape of the lips is so desirable. Sometimes, however, nature begrudges perfection.

But we can make your lips look truly sensuous.

When lip augmentation is performed, you should really focus on the natural look of one’s lips. This procedure is all about making a delicate change that improves your appearance; it should never be drastic or intrusive. Lip augmentation can be performed regardless of patient’s age; in fact women at different ages have various expectations as regards the look of their lips – and various problems they wish to get rid of. Aesthetic medicine clinics are often visited by young girls who feel inferior on account of their lips being asymmetrical, having an uneven contour, or too thin upper or lower lip. In most cases, a hyaluronic acid gel is a solution to their problems.

This form of acid occurs naturally in all living organisms, with its most important function being binding and accumulating water inside tissues. One of the policies of our clinic is to always use top quality products from recognised manufacturers. It guarantees safety of our treatments and a lasting effect. Hyaluronic acid is safe and does not contain any solid elements. It remains in tissues for approx. 6-9 months, undergoing gradual absorption. Even after complete absorption of the preparation, the lips are in a far better shape than before the procedure, looking moist and firm. The duration of the initial effect can be prolonged by further injections of the product.

Before the procedure

Lip augmentation does not require any special preparations. It is one of the procedures that can be performed any time you wish. However, up to 3 days before the procedure, you should avoid taking aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs. On the day of procedure you should not use the sauna or sunbeds. We also strongly advise against performing any strenuous psychical activities on the appointed day. Please remove makeup from your lips before the procedure. All of these recommendations are to ensure the best possible outcome.

Lip augmentation – description of the procedure

Due to sensitivity of the lips we recommend taking an anaesthetic approx. 40 minutes before the procedure.

Depending on the client’s needs, the entire lip area can be augmented.

The gel is injected using the linear retro-tracing technique or the serial puncture technique. Once the material has been applied, the injection site is massaged so that the product is evenly distributed over the entire surface. After the procedure, a special cosmetic with high K vitamin content (or other) is applied on the lips to minimise bruising.

Side effects:

The injection may result in some inflammatory responses, such as Erythema, swelling and redness. Small hematomas are also possible. All of these symptoms should disappear within a few days.

After the procedure

For up to three days after the procedure you should not expose your lips to sunlight or heat. All of these recommendations are to ensure the best possible outcome.
